Chilled precooked noodles and pasta can save you a great deal of time, as they can be incorporated directly in your production process or used directly in your end product. They offer convenience, efficiency, consistent quality and are always partly cooked to the degree that you require for your end product. In our own cooking department we make sure that the products meet your standards.

Adjusting to your processing

The degree of precooking is geared to the further processing to be undergone by the precooked products. If the products are to undergo a pasteurization process, they are precooked for 60% before delivery to you. If you intend to heat the products in a wok, pan, steamer or microwave or mix them with warm ingredients, then 80% precooking is suitable. If the noodles and pasta are to be used to make salads, they are first 100 % cooked al dente. Our product consultants can determine in consultation with you the optimum degree of precooking for these products. This ensures that you will get consistent cooking results every time in all product processes, thus guaranteeing consistent quality for your end products.

Cooked, packed and chilled

The precooked noodles and pasta are packed and refrigerated directly after cooking and rinsing. In addition to the precooking options, the packaging size can also be geared to your wishes. The standard volumes are 1 kg, 2 kg, 5 kg and 10 kg. Should you require a different volume, this is not a problem.

Shelf life

During packaging, the precooked noodles and pasta are vacuumed and treated with a food preservation gas. This is important in order to prolong shelf life. Thorough research has shown that the precooked products last for at least two to three weeks in sealed packs.

After packaging, all products are moved directly to the cold storage chamber so that they can be brought down to a product temperature of 3 to 4 degrees Centigrade as quickly as possible. The temperature measurements are checked and logged in accordance with the HACCP procedure.

Once the products have been properly cooled, they are prepared for dispatch and are delivered to the customer using conditioned refrigerated transport.

Delivery in crates/containers

The cellophane bags can also be packed in returnable so-called CBL crates/containers and delivered on plastic pallets. This means that you can place the pallets carrying the products directly in your production area and process further from there. The crates/containers will be collected with a subsequent delivery.
